What You’ll Do

This is a unique opportunity for a self-starting, entrepreneurial thinker to work directly with Salt’s partners as part of our Client Development team. This team works frequently with the senior leadership and c-suite level clients and prospects; you will have the opportunity to work directly with our clients, developing and strengthening new and existing relationships while simultaneously managing the sales process for net-new opportunities. This person will be responsible for everything from initiating and nurturing relationships, to developing branding proposals for fortune 500 companies and helping design mix-method approaches for some of the world’s leading brands.

For these reasons, the right person for this role is a bright, articulate, engaging, outgoing, creative, and detail-oriented professional. This person must possess exemplary critical thinking ability and business acumen, exceptional project management skill, empathy for the challenges our clients face, and be excited to learn, grow, and enjoy building relationships. Further responsibilities include:

  • Driving communications with existing and former clients as well as net-new prospects
  • Identifying, managing, and qualifying 10+ opportunities at a time
  • Owning business development process and outreach focused on building and strengthening Salt’s total pipeline
  • Producing well-developed, strategically-sound, visually appealing, and creatively compelling client proposals and presentations
  • Developing pitch materials and templates to match industry-specific challenges
  • Collaborating with team and internal stakeholders to create a unique portfolio of stories and assets that showcase Salt’s value proposition in relation to different markets, industries, and business objectives
  • Collaborating and coordinating with our broader LRW Group family including working directly with colleagues at Kelton, LRW, T3, and other in-network / sister agencies.
  • Maintaining and sharing updates on our pipeline of potential projects with management and sister agencies, proactively looking for cross-network opportunities


  • 4+ years of professional experience in a client-facing and/or business development role
  • Branding, marketing, or consulting agency experience preferred
  • Strategic thinker skilled at gathering and synthesizing data into meaningful and relevant internal and client communications
  • Impeccable written/verbal communication and strong presentation skills
  • Impressive attention to detail and visual design in regard to professional materials
  • Extremely strong PowerPoint skills and comfort with the Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to multi-task, work efficiently and effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
  • Comfort with developing connections with people inside and outside of an organization

Compensation is $80,000-$90,000 annually, depending on experience.
